To live up to Ledlenser's quality promise, we used Pimcore to develop a product information management system tailored specifically to the brand. This significantly increased the quality of the data required for internal processes and the new online store.

Inefficient legacy systems should be replaced

A central task in the collaboration with Ledlenser was to optimize the quality of the product data required for internal processes and for the relaunch of the online store. A product information management system (PIM) was to be implemented in order to make all data available in the company's own store as well as for sales on online marketplaces. However, this also meant that legacy systems had to be replaced, while the seamless integration of the new system into the customer's ERP process had to be ensured. The country- and channel-specific requirements of the globally active company also had to be taken into account. The entire development of a new product was to be mapped via ERP and PIM - from the initial product idea, through the technical development process and production, to logistics, sales and ultimately delisting.

By adopting a solution-oriented approach and providing suitable strategies, we worked closely with Ledlenser to successfully implement the project, which fully met the requirements and objectives. In just five months, we succeeded in significantly improving product data quality. Ledlenser can now offer its customers even more reliable information that fully corresponds to the high-quality goods and is future-proof thanks to the implementation of a state-of-the-art tech stack. Simplified data management and newly implemented workflows help to make internal processes more intuitive and resource-efficient. This also benefits the new online store with its customer-oriented product presentation.
