How long does a Pimcore audit take?
The audit itself usually takes two to three weeks. Once the quotation has been approved, there is a lead time before the team – comprising a certified Pimcore expert and a digital consultant – can get started.
Do you need access to our system to do this?
Yes, we need access to the platform and its environment. Specifically, this includes: access to the development environment and the repository, insight into the CI environment, a dump of the database and file system, access to hosting and tracking tools, and the existing documentation on interfaces and surrounding systems. In addition, there will be a 30-minute kick-off meeting to address any technical queries. Upon request, we will sign a confidentiality agreement in advance. Basilicom is CISIS12-certified.
What does the audit report say?
The report includes an assessment of the technical setup, an overview of business-critical functionalities, a review of the code against Pimcore best practices, and specific recommendations for action.
